Returns

At Rinessa, we are unwaveringly committed to offering a refined and enjoyable shopping experience. We have formulated a customer-centred Returns and Exchanges Policy that demonstrates our ongoing pledge to deliver exceptional service and complete customer satisfaction.

These terms governing returns, exchanges, cancellations, and damaged items shall apply exclusively to products purchased online through rinessa.com or from our flagship stores.

Returns

1. Initiating a Return or Exchange

If you encounter any issue with an item delivered to you, please notify us at [email protected] within 5 days of delivery. Requests submitted beyond this timeframe will not be considered. Please refer to Condtions for Return or Exchange for more information.

2. Refunds
  •  Refunds shall only be issued in the form of a store credit only and strictly in accordance with the terms set out herein.
  • If the product has not been delivered to you, the store credit shall be processed within seven (7) working days of our acceptance of your refund request.
  • If the product has already been delivered, the store credit shall be processed within seven (7) working days of the product being received by us and confirmed to meet our standards mentioned below.
3. Conditions for Return or Exchange
  • Products, once sold, may be exchanged for a replacement or returned for a store credit only under the following conditions:
    • The original invoice must be presented.
    • The products must meet our quality standards and be in the same condition as at the time of purchase. We maintain comprehensive records of our rigorous quality control process at every stage, including at the time of dispatch.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any exchange or return request that does not satisfy our standards and requirements.
4. Exchanges
  • In the event that you request an exchange, you must purchase a replacement item of equal or greater value. Any remaining amount shall be issued by way of store credit.
  • All exchanges, including size changes, are strictly subject to product availability and our specific confirmation.
  • Any product exchanged once shall be deemed a customised item and shall not be eligible for any further exchange.
  • If the requested exchange cannot be fulfilled due to the unavailability of the desired product or size, a store credit may be issued in accordance with these terms.
5. Store Credits

 Any store credits issued against refunds shall remain valid for a period of six (6) months from the date of issuance.

6. Return and Exchange Requirements
  • All conditions governing the return of goods shall apply equally to the exchange of goods.
  • Any product returned to us may only be exchanged for another product or a credit note. A credit note shall be issued solely upon our receipt of the returned product and confirmation that it meets our applicable standards.
  • Products shall only be eligible for exchange or return if they are unworn, unused, unwashed in perfect orginal condition, and retain all original tags.
  • Any products that are damaged, soiled, or returned without their original labels and tags will be refused and returned to you.
  • Where applicable, all accessories and/or original designer packaging provided with the product—such as authenticity cards, dust bags, and leather tags—must be included in any return or exchange.
  • Returns that cannot be properly identified or matched with a valid purchase will be returned to the sender.
7. Discounted, Special Offers and Limited Edition
  • No refunds shall be granted for orders to which any form of discount has been applied. For the avoidance of doubt, “discount” includes, but is not limited to, any sale (including EOSS), discount code, offer code, or coupon.
  • Any discounted products, or orders placed using loyalty points or promotional gift vouchers or specifically marked it as Limtied Edition, shall be ineligible for returns or exchanges.
8. Faulty Goods
  • Goods shall be deemed faulty only if they arrive in a damaged condition. Damage resulting from normal wear and tear shall not be considered a defect. Hence we strongly recommend recording a video while opening the package
  • Please not that we maintain comprehensive records of our rigorous quality control process at every stage, including at the time of dispatch.
  • If you wish to exchange a faulty item rather than receive a store credit, the replacement shall be for the same product in the same size, subject to availability.
  • Where possible, we shall offer to repair faulty items. Please note that we maintain a rigorous quality control process at every stage, including prior to dispatch.
9. Custom-Made and Altered Products
  • All custom-made orders shall be deemed final sales and are neither returnable, exchangeable, nor refundable.
  • All altered products shall likewise be deemed final sales and are neither returnable, exchangeable, nor refundable.
10. Shipping Costs
  • In the event of a return or exchange, we shall arrange the return shipping on your behalf the follwing day from filling the retrun/exchage form.
  • In the event of an exchange, we shall be responsible for both the return shipping and the shipping of the new product, subject to availability and all applicable terms and conditions.
  • In the event of a return, the cost of return shipping shall be deducted from the store credit issued to you.

11. Bulk Orders

Any order comprising more than five (5) products shall be deemed a bulk order. Any returns or refunds for such orders shall be granted solely at our discretion.

12. International Orders

Due to shipping, customs, and logistical constraints, no international orders placed on our website shall be eligible for return or exchange. For the avoidance of doubt, an “international order” refers to any order delivered outside the territory of India.

Damaged Products

We strongly recommend recording a video while opening the package. Please not that we maintain comprehensive records of our rigorous quality control process at every stage, including at the time of dispatch.

1. Notification and Eligibility

In the event that a product is hampered or damaged during transportation, it shall be eligible for a return, exchange, or repair, provided that we are notified of such damage within twenty-four (24) hours of delivery.

2. Assessment and Resolutions

Upon receipt of the damaged product, our production team shall assess the damage and, at our sole discretion, offer one of the following resolutions:

  • Repair or Alteration: We will endeavour to fix the damage and, upon completion, dispatch the repaired product back to you.
  • Replacement: Should the damage be irreparable, we may process an order for a new item.
  • Store Credit: We may, alternatively, issue a store credit in lieu of the damaged product.
3. Refund Policy

We are pleased to provide exchanges, alterations, or the option of store credit to ensure your complete satisfaction with your purchase. For further information, please refer to the Returns and Exchange section.

Cancellation

1. General Policy
  • We shall not accept any cancellation once your order is ready for shipping.
  • You may cancel any order placed on our website within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving the order confirmation email or before the product is ready for shipping, whichever occurs first. Any request submitted beyond this period shall not be considered.
2. Entitlement upon Cancellation
  • In the event of a valid cancellation, you shall be entitled to receive store credit in lieu of the cancelled order.
  • If your order is duly cancelled in accordance with these terms, the amount paid by you (less any applicable charges) shall be reversed to your account within seven (7) business days of our receipt of your bank account details. Under no circumstances shall we process a cash refund.
3. How to Cancel, Return, or Exchange
  • To cancel, return, or exchange an item, you must fill up the form under Retruns and Exchanges.
  • For products sold in-store, you may visit the store to initiate a cancellation, return, or exchange, provided it is done within the timelines stipulated.
